Council Candidate, Mark
Boice, is teaming up with the Hamilton County Professional Fire
Fighters Association Local 4416 to promote public safety by
offering free child ID cards. The event is open to the public at no
cost. Parents can take advantage of helping to protect their
children in our community.
WHERE:
Hinkle Creek Elementary School -
595 South Harbour Drive in Noblesville
WHEN:
Saturday, April 14, 2007
TIME: 1:00
– 4:00 p.m.
Mark Boice and the Hamilton
County Fire Fighters truly believe in protecting our children and
community. Child ID cards are used as the number one tool for
authorities to expedite a quick recovery of a missing child.
Currently, 85% of all parents do not have a current photo, height
and weight of their child. Kids love ID cards and the card gives
parents peace of mind.
“Public safety is one of the
main reasons I am running for City Council. I want to protect our
children in this community, so we partnered with the fire fighters
to bring this event to Noblesville,” Mark Boice said.
In addition, Readers Are
Leaders (readersareleadersbookmobile.com)
is a mobile reading unit that will be on-site at the event promoting
literacy by selling books at highly reduced rates. A percentage of
the proceeds will go to the Hoosier Burn Camp (hoosierburncamp.org).
